Monte Carlo Menus

Monte Carlo menus will leave your mouth watering as you select your choices for the day. The quality and service on the day is sure to impress and  leave you and your guests satisfied and delighted.

Our menus take advantage of selected seasonal food for freshness and highest quality. Our butchers provide us with the best poultry and meats. The quality of our food preparation and service carries a high reputation, earned over the years and which we strive to maintain and build upon.

There is a wide choice of dishes to choose from and the following selections are but a small sample of the range that we can readily offer...

Cold Entree

  • Antipasto Di Casa - A selection of prosciutto, salami, champagne ham, roast peppers, grilled eggplant, olive and sundried tomatoes
  • Rosettes of prosciutto on strips of char-grilled zucchini with a Waldorf salad of lettuce, diced apples, walnuts and our chef's special dressing.
  • Smoke Salmon - Thin smoked Atlantic salmon slices layered over mesclun salad and drizzled with a lemon vinaigrette, capers and Spanish onions.

Hot Entree

  • Tortellini San Marco - Meat-filled pasta, cooked with bacon,mushrooms, shallots and creamy tomato mushroom sauce.
  • Gnocchi Pesto - Home-made pumpkin and potato dumplings tossed with a basil, pine nut cream sauce.
  • Chicken Salad - Grilled chicken strips set on a mesclun salad and drizzled with a balsamic vinegar.

Main Course

  • Succulent eye fillet rolled in Cavados brandy and whole gran mustard.
  • Chicken Piccata - Medallions of chicken fillet coated in seeded mustard and gently baked, set on Napoli sauce.
  • Veal Involtini - Veal medallions rolled with champagne ham and a mozzarella cheese, pan-fried and oven-baked, served with a dollop of Napolitana sauce.
  • Loin of lamb topped with fine herb and pine nut crumb on an olive and red wine sauce.
  • Mushroom and polenta gateau layered with parmesan cheese and grilled vegetables (vegetarian)
  • Tasmanian Atlantic salmon seared and herb crusted and served with a light, zesty lemon sauce.

Dessert

  • Bigne Al Cioccolato - Profiteroles filled with patisserie cream and served with a hot chocolate sauce and creme Anglaise
  • Frangelico Mousse - Rich home-made chocolate mousse laced with Frangelico liqueur and set in a dark chocolate champagne glass.
  • Tiramisu - Sponge-finger biscuits soaked in liqueur and coffee and layered with mascarpone cheese set on a caramel sauce.
